car on the ground.

Sorry for the lapse in posting, but I have been busy installing a rear disk brake conversion, getting the car on the ground, as well as picking up random things in junk yards and an engine. After removing my evaporator tank, due to finding one of the hoses with a massive hole in it...

I rebuilt my carbs and am in the process of putting together its time lapse movie about it right now. Unfortunately when I put the carbs back on the car, it didn't start. I pulled out the multimeter checked for power going to the dizzy and dizzy to plugs, made sure that I was in fact getting fuel, but still she isn't running. Once I get the movie done, I will head out there and figure out why the engine isn't doing what it is supposed to.

I say this all too often, but gosh golly I really like saying it, this is the first real Datsun 240z with both a BRE front lip AND ZG flares ever photographed. I can say this because I have been through all of the 240z photos in the Google image database and 100 or so pages in flickr. Ss without further ado here she is.

Yes I know the car looks like a monster truck sitting how high it is, but do not fret! An old friend from grade school has a set of coilovers off of a 240sx that can be fabbed to work with the car. Once the brackets are in production the car will be properly lowered, aka slammed as low as she can go.
