testing testing... CLACK CLACK CLACK...

The Nikon D90 came in yesterday and all I can say is that I LOVE this camera! Everything is controllable with a simple button hold and scroll swipe, and the sound that it makes blows the D40 out of the water. With the d40 if I wanted to change the exposure compensation while in Manual mode I had to first switch it into a different mode, then button-swipe to get what I wanted, go back into Manual mode, and then take the photo; A great deal of shots were waisted, lost, or missed do to this lag time. Now all I have to do is button-swipe, no lag at all! It is like those iPhone commercials, only with camera settings instead of applications (and yeah... there is an app for the D90). The D90 seems to auto-focus a great deal quicker as well; not to mention the availability to 3D face track and have 11 focus points instead of the 3 available to the D40. I am kinda sad that it will not auto-focus while in movie mode, but not many tears will fall.

I have just started to adjust all of the many many sub menus to get the camera how I like it, but there is so much to change that it will probably take me a couple of outings to get used to all of it and be able to change everything with ease and speed. Here are a couple of shots and movies made from the random gathering at Ian's house.
